Will Triplett took this photo of three little Bluffton girls at the turn of an earlier century.
We don't know if the girls are related or are neighbors. Our guess is two Luginbuhl sisters with a smaller cousin, Ella Hochstettler.
Posed with a favorite doll and a basket of flowers and dressed in, no doubt, home sewn dresses, the girls, from left are Ella Luginbuhl Dillman, Ella Hochstettler Schlatter and Edna Luginbuhl Neuenschwander.
Keep in mind that the girls needed to stay perfectly still for at least 3 to 4 seconds for this indoor photo to be a success. The three were probably rewarded by their parents after the photo session.
