First-class Columbus Grove mystery

Here's our second ghost story preview

Putnam County officials seemed to have a first class mystery on their hands in the discovery of what seemed to be a partly burned human body in a burned straw stack on the Mark Bogart farm near Columbus Grove.

Jan. 15, 1925, Bluffton News – Putnam County officials seemed to have a first class mystery on their hands in the discovery of what seemed to be a partly burned human body in a burned straw stack on the Mark Bogart farm near Columbus Grove.


Tracks in the snow showed some person approached the stack and left by another route. No person in Putnam County had been reported missing.
