6 Habegger brothers

Third generation of Swiss immigrants to live in the Bluffton-Pandora Swiss Settlement

The sons of Isaac and Rebecca Shank Habegger posed for the early 1900s portrait. These brothers represent the third generation of Habeggers living in the Bluffton-Pandora Swiss Settlement. The Habegger family is one of the earliest families of Swiss immigrants to live in our community.

They are the sons of Isaac and Rebecca who had nine children.Their father, Isaac, was born April 1, 1841, in Riley Township and died Jan. 27, 1916. The Habegger family came from Switzerland and arrived here in 1833. Additional Habegger family information is here.
