You may watch the dance of the milkweeds
Known by another name, Asclepias, the flowering milkweed, performs in dance mode this month.
The easiest-to-watch frolics occur on the banks of an old Bluffton stone quarry, called the Buckeye. Dozens of these latex-appearing creatures thrive on the Buckeye’s shore shared with dozens of illegal-alien Canada Geese, one white duck, and three seemingly, out-of-place gulls.
We captured various strains of their wind-blown performance on a Sunny fall day this week.
